Some confusion on SP+ units and the unit type F4, F7 & H7 & Firmware to use AKCP Remote Sensor Monitoring

Hello AKCP,

We are a bit confused regarding our SP+ devices, specifically the F4, F7, and H7 models, as we have all three. In our previous conversation, you mentioned that the F4 devices are EOS and no longer receive firmware updates.

Could you please confirm this and provide further clarification on the firmware support for the F4 F7 and H7 devices?

We have useful information for the firmware differences and device identification in the “H7, F7 and F4 Platforms” section of our SP+ firmware upgrade page.

Here’s some practical firmware upgrade steps that should be useful for them (and all customers in general).
Go to the Settings => About page of the SP+ device and check the “System Description”

You can check the About page in the units web UI that will display the unit type.
