Hello,
i want to know if is it possible to connect 10 of 20 I/O dry contact in input and 10 last in output?
So, i want to know if is it possible to connect the 10 output to drive 10 relay 24VAC?
regards

Hi!
I have contacted support with your question. I think it would help them if you can tell which product you are using. They should respond shortly.
Thank,

Hello Gabriel,
the product is a SPX8-X20; I would like to explain what i want to do.
I want to connect just dry switch on the 10 first double terminals (from 1+/1- to 10+/10-) to have 10 inputs.
On the 10 last double terminals (from 11+/11- to 20+/20-), I want to drive 10 relays in 24VAC : example : put 24VAC on terminal 11+, coil of relay on 11-.
Thank you

That’s possible, the input/output mode of the 20 I/O Dry Contact module can be configured on SPX+ web interface.
Just to confirm the pcards on the SPX+ I/O dry contacts cannot drive a 24VDC relay?
Confirmed, output of the module can not directly drive 24VDC relay.
The module can only output up to 5V (0 / 5V) with and it can provide only up to 20mA current.
They would need to connect the 5V outputs from our Dry Contact I/O to external circuit, in order to drive the 24VDC relays.
An example of a 12V DC relay driving circuit (article from Internet) using 5V output from micro controller (same as our output) is shown below.
This is just for a general idea of the circuit connections.

ok thanks,
I was talking about 24vAC not DC but ok, the SPX output can drive only 5VDC.
What max current each output can be delivered?
Now I will use interfaces relays 5VDC coil comsuption around 30mA each with free wheeling diode (WEIDMULLER 1122860000)

The I/O dry contacts do not support any type of AC voltage. Most likely the unit would be damaged if AC is connected.
As stated above, the dry contact outputs can synch up to 20mA of current.
