Thank you for your question. Yes, the SP+ units (SP2+ & SPX+) units do have limitations on the size of the SSL certificates as follows;

Here is a summary of the F4 F7 H7 HTTPS certificate file size limitation.
F4: Always 4K
F7:
Firmware 5676 2022-02-11 and earlier: 4K
Firmware 5824 2022-10-20 and later: 12K
H7: Always 12K

Moreover, please check this forum and also the SP+ manuals in order for you to determine your unit type (F4, F7 or H7). Insure your SP+ unit(s) are upgraded to the latest firmware on our website support portal and also check the manual there on how to upload the certificates to your unit(s).
